How the legendary Marta inspires NWSL players while searching for an elusive championship with Orlando PrideCity slumped to their seventh defeat in 10 games in all competitions as they were beaten 2-0 at Juventus in their latest European outing on Wednesday. Second-half goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie at the Allianz Stadium left Guardiola’s side languishing in 22nd place in the standings. Juventus beat Man City 💪 — UEFA Champions League (@ChampionsLeague) With just two games of the league phase remaining, a place in the top eight and automatic last-16 qualification looks beyond them and they face a battle just to stay in the top 24 and claim a play-off spot. City manager Guardiola said: “Of course I question myself but I’m stable in good moments and bad moments. “I try to find a way to do it. I’m incredibly honest. If we play good (I say) we played good and today I thought we played good. “Our game will save us. We can do it. We conceded few chances compared to the Nottingham Forest game that we won. We’re making the right tempo. “We missed the last pass, did not arrive in the six-yard box (at the right time) or have the composure at the right moment. “But I love my team. This is life, it happens. Sometimes you have a bad period but I’m going to insist until we’re there.” City now face a crunch trip to Paris St Germain, who are also at risk of failing to qualify, next month. Guardiola accepts the top 24 is now the only aim. He said: “It’s the target. We need one point or three points. We go to Paris to try to do it and the last game at home.” Veteran midfielder Ilkay Gundogan said after the game he felt City were suffering from a loss of confidence but Guardiola dismissed his player’s comments. “I am not agreeing with Ilkay,” he said. “Of course it is tough but, except one or two games in this period, we’ve played good.” City now face a further test of their resolve as they host rivals Manchester United in a derby on Sunday. "We played well" Pep Guardiola trusts in his squad despite 2-0 loss to Juventus... 📺 & — Football on TNT Sports (@footballontnt) Gundogan told TNT Sports: “It (confidence) is a big part of it. That’s a mental issue as well. “You can see that sometimes we miss the ball or lose a duel and you see that we drop immediately and lose the rhythm. They (the opponents) don’t even need to do much but it has such a big effect on us right now. “Even more you have to do the simple things as good as possible and create and fluidity, then it’s work hard again. This is how you get confidence back – do the small and simple things, (but) in crucial moments at the moment we are always doing the wrong things.” Juventus coach Thiago Motta was pleased with the hosts’ performance, which boosted their hopes of making the top eight. “It was a deserved victory,” he said. “We had to defend as a team and be ready to attack with quality. “We have shown we can compete at this level and now we have to do it consistently.”The Friday college basketball slate is stacked and Underdog Fantasy promo code BETFPB guarantees a 50% deposit bonus up to $1,000 to all new customers. Cambodian PM Says Peace Cornerstone of National Resilience, RejuvenationWhen it comes to enhancing your curves, many people think surgery is the only option. However, the non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is gaining popularity for its ability to provide subtle volume and lift without the need for invasive procedures. Here’s a complete guide to understanding this innovative approach to buttock augmentation. Photo Credit: Aesthetic Island NYC What is a Non-Surgical BBL? A non-surgical BBL is a minimally invasive treatment designed to enhance the shape and volume of the buttocks without the risks and downtime associated with surgery. Unlike a traditional BBL, which requires fat transfer through liposuction, this procedure uses injectable products such as dermal fillers or biostimulators to create a fuller, lifted appearance. Ideal for those seeking a more understated enhancement, the non-surgical BBL offers a quicker, safer alternative with no need for anesthesia or recovery time. Popular Techniques for Non-Surgical BBLs The two most common products used in non-surgical BBLs are Radiesse and Sculptra , which offer unique benefits: Radiesse : This dermal filler provides immediate volume to the buttocks while stimulating collagen production for longer-lasting results. It’s perfect for those who want noticeable changes right away. Sculptra : Unlike Radiesse, Sculptra focuses on stimulating collagen growth for a gradual, natural-looking enhancement. Over time, it helps improve firmness and lift while creating a fuller appearance. Both products are highly customizable, allowing patients to achieve results tailored to their specific goals. How Long Do Results Last? One of the major advantages of a non-surgical BBL is its long-lasting effects. Depending on the product used and individual factors like metabolism and lifestyle, results typically last between 1 and 2 years . Since these treatments stimulate collagen production, the benefits often improve over time, making this option a durable solution for enhancing curves. How Many Sessions Are Needed? Most patients notice improvement after just one or two sessions , but achieving optimal results may require three sessions spaced a few weeks apart. The number of treatments needed depends on the starting point and the desired level of enhancement. Photo Credit: Aesthetic Island NYC Aftercare and Recovery Aftercare for a non-surgical BBL is straightforward. Here’s what to expect: Avoid sitting directly on the treated area for at least 48 hours to allow the product to settle. Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy lifestyle to enhance the results. Bruising or swelling may occur but typically resolves within a few days. With minimal downtime, this treatment is perfect for those with busy schedules. Who is a Good Candidate? A non-surgical BBL is ideal for individuals who want a subtle enhancement, improved symmetry, or a lifted look without surgery. It’s particularly appealing to those who prefer a minimally invasive approach with little to no downtime. Are There Risks? While the procedure is generally safe when performed by a qualified injector, there are some minor risks, including bruising, swelling, or tenderness at the injection site. These side effects are usually temporary and resolve quickly. Choosing an experienced provider significantly minimizes the risk of serious complications. Back to Your Routine One of the biggest benefits of a non-surgical BBL is the ability to return to daily activities immediately after the procedure. Strenuous activities and direct pressure on the treated area should be avoided for 48 hours , but most clients can resume their normal routine right away. A non-surgical BBL is a game-changer for those seeking a subtle, effective way to enhance their curves without the challenges of surgery. With customizable options, minimal downtime, and long-lasting results, it’s easy to see why this treatment is becoming a go-to solution for buttock augmentation. Aesthetic Island NYC offers expert non-surgical BBL treatments, providing a safe and tailored experience for every client. The legislation, introduced on Thursday, seeks to block children under 16 from accessing social media platforms including Musk-owned X, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat. Social media giants could face penalties up to $49.5 million if they breach the laws, which aim to better protect the wellbeing of young Australians online. Musk delivered his blunt assessment of the legislation on Thursday as he reshared a post on X by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. "Seems like a backdoor way to control access to the internet by all Australians," the billionaire responded to the post, which has since amassed more than 17 million views. Musk has also been outspoken in his criticism of Labor's online misinformation and disinformation bill in recent months, previously labelling the Albanese government as "fascists". Under the bill, introduced in September, social media companies could be fined up to five per cent of their global revenue if they fail to adequately crack down on misinformation and disinformation on their platforms. Asked about Musk's remarks on Friday, independent MP Zali Steggall claimed the X owner was "looking after his own interests". "I’m not a fan of Elon Musk so in some ways I would say he’s looking after his own interests," Ms Steggall told Sky News Australia host Kenny Heatley. "He’s obviously a multibillionaire trying to preserve his business that I think at the moment is going downhill with a lot of people leaving X for platforms like Bluesky." Under the proposed age limit measures, it will be illegal for children under 16 to access social media platforms unless they meet specific age verification criteria. However, social media platforms will cop any penalties should underage users bypass the restrictions. Ms Steggall said she was concerned the new legislation was a "band aid approach" from the government, claiming the social media ban could have negative impacts for children. "It’s a knee-jerk reaction to very traumatic incidents but many experts an organisations say it will not fix the problem," the independent MP said. "What I would like to see the government be focusing is actually more on legislation that introduces a duty of care and puts responsibility on platforms. "My concern about the ban is it will also have negative impacts on young people who do find their tribe online and access resources that are useful to them. "So we need to find a balance between making sure we protect them from the damaging content and look at the algorithms." Children under the age of 16 are still able to use YouTube, WhatsApp, Messenger Kids, Google Classroom and Kids Helpline under the new bill. Introducing the social media age limit bill on Thursday, Communications Minister Michelle Rowland said the government was committed to keeping young Australians safe online. "Social media has a social responsibility. We know they can and should do better to address harms on their platforms," Ms Rowland in parliament. "The online safety amendment social media minimum age bill 2024 will amend the online safety act 2021 by introducing a minimum age of 16. "The bill puts the onus on social media platforms, not parents or young people, to take reasonable steps to ensure fundamental protections are in place. "This is about protecting young people, not punishing or isolating them."

LOS ANGELES — The locker room after the Rams’ 37-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was as quiet as any this season. Players shouldered blame in quiet, shorts responses to reporters’ questions before filing out and into the night. As they dissected what had just happened, the Rams (5-6) also looked ahead and stated they could not afford for this game to spiral into the next game, which is Sunday’s matchup with the New Orleans Saints (4-7). “Just make sure you turn the page. Obviously, there are things that we want to correct from the game and find ways to be better moving forward, but make sure that we come out with great energy today. It starts today,” Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford said before Wednesday’s practice. “There are going to be things we want to clean up from practice, make sure we do that and move on day-to-day with the right attitude and the right spirit.” As the Rams have gone about making those corrections, a consistent word has come to mind: Consistency. Asked what he’s looking for from the defense Sunday after its worst performance since the early weeks of the season, head coach Sean McVay used that word. He spoke about playing as a unit, sticking to assignments, coverage and pass rush complementing each other. Then he added with a smile, “Same things I’m looking for on the defense would be exactly how I would answer your offensive question as well.” Even 11 games into the season, we still haven’t seen the Rams offense perform with the type of consistency you would expect from a group with this much talent. Against the Eagles, the Rams moved the ball well in the first quarter, reaching the red zone twice without needing a third down. But any momentum was quickly lost with a 10-play second quarter that resulted in a loss of six yards. It was the same story a week before, with the offense blazing in the second and third quarters against the Patriots while going nowhere in the first and fourth quarters. “It’s kind of the word ‘consistency’ right now,” Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said. “There are times where it feels like we go right down the field and put it in, and there are other times where it just feels a little bit harder than it should. I think that’s the biggest key right now.” The defense is facing a similar obstacle. The Rams are among the best in the NFL at holding teams without a touchdown in the red zone, limiting opponents to a 48.8% success rate. That ranks eighth in the league, but the flip side is that the Rams allow teams 3.7 trips into the red zone per game, which is tied for 28th. Defensive tackle and captain Kobie Turner raised the issue of allowing too many long drives following the Eagles loss, and defensive coordinator Chris Shula agreed with the assessment. “Some of that, especially the other night, they were in third downs a decent amount of time and it was a third and favorable,” Shula said. “Then, finding a way to get stops, finding a way to play, get them off track, get them into 2nd-and-longs where you get those 3rd-longs, and you can earn the right to rush the passer.” Entering Week 13, it’s not encouraging that the Rams are still struggling to find consistency in their execution. But to this point, it hasn’t upended their season. The wild card might be out of reach, but the NFC West title is still up for grabs. But that starts with a road win against a Saints team playing with nothing to lose. “We know that it’s going to be a great challenge, especially at their place. It’ll be rocking atmosphere and environment with the holidays and the momentum they have,” McVay said. “We’ve a lot of guys that are experiencing things for the first time. I have seen the resolve of this group show itself. Now, we’ve to do it.” RAMS (5-6) at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (4-7) When: 1:05 p.m. Sunday Where: Superdome, New Orleans TV/radio: FOX (Ch. 11)/710 AM; 93.1 FM; 1330 AM (Spanish); Sirius 382, 226Industrial Valve Cover Gasket Market Driven by Demand for Immersive Technologies Across Industries

MAPUTO, Mozambique (AP) — Violence that engulfed Mozambique after the country's highest court confirmed ruling Frelimo party presidential candidate Daniel Chapo as the winner of disputed Oct. 9 elections killed at least 21 people, including two police officers, authorities said Tuesday. Mozambique Interior Minister Pascoal Ronda told a news conference in Maputo late Tuesday that a wave of violence and looting was sparked by the court's announcement a day earlier. He said it was led by mostly youthful supporters of losing candidate Venancio Mondlane, who received 24% of the vote, second to Chapo, who got 65%. “From the preliminary survey, in the last 24 hours, 236 acts of violence were recorded throughout the national territory that resulted in 21 deaths, of which two members of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique also died," Ronda said. He said 13 civilians and 12 police were injured. Ronda said 25 vehicles were set on fire, including two police vehicles. He added that 11 police subunits and a penitentiary were attacked and vandalized and 86 inmates were freed. Tensions were high in the country ahead of the The Constitutional Council ruling on Monday and violent protests started immediately after the announcement was made. Footage circulating on various social media platforms showed protesters burning and looting shops in the capital Maputo and the city of Beira, where some city officials were reported to have fled the city. Mondlane has called for a “shutdown” starting Friday but violence in the country has already escalated and the situation remained tense in the capital on Tuesday night following a day of violence and looting by protesters. The country of 34 million people has been on edge since the Oct. 9 general elections . Mondlane’s supporters, mostly hundreds of thousands of young people, have since taken to the streets, and have been met by gunfire from security forces. This brings to more than 150 the number of people who have died from post-election violence since the initial results were announced by the country's electoral body.None
