NEW DELHI: Satcom Industry Association India ( SIA-India ) has inked an MoU with Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute (GSSTI) to advance collaboration in satellite communications and space industry. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting growth and sustainability of space-based technologies and applications that benefit both nations. This collaboration aims to unlock new opportunities, promote innovation, and strengthen the bond between India and Ghana. “We are excited to embark on this partnership with GSSTI which represents a significant step toward strengthening space sector ties between India and Ghana. Argos shoppers rushing to buy PS5 Pro in January deal that's almost too good to be trueJack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy, has claimed his cousin who recently became intertwined with Donald Trump , Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is a “Russian spy”. Schlossberg, a 31-year-old Democrat, has for months mocked Kennedy , a 70-year-old Democrat-turned-Independent, for his political involvement with Trump and insinuated Kennedy has ties to Moscow. But on Wednesday, Schlossberg claimed Kennedy is “so obviously a Russian spy” in response to an Axios article that alleged Kennedy wants his daughter-in-law to be part of the CIA to uncover the truth behind JFK’s assassination. “You all think I’m joking,” Schlossberg wrote in his post before adding four “ha”s. Schlossberg, whose mother is Caroline Kennedy, did not clarify what he meant by that or elaborate on his point. Though he did post a collage on Instagram of Kennedy with Joseph Stalin and Nikita Khrushchev, the former prime ministers of the Soviet Union as well as Leonid Brezhnev, the former general secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The Independent has reached out to a representative for Schlossberg and the Trump team for comment . Back in May, Schlossberg posted a video that portrayed Kennedy as a Russian “hero” for siding with President Vladimir Putin in the Russia – Ukraine conflict. Schlossberg, and other members of the Kennedy extended family , have criticized Kennedy for abandoning the family’s traditional Democratic values and espousing anti-vaccine beliefs and other conspiracy theories. Last year, Kennedy launched a long-shot presidential campaign focussed heavily on improving food and healthcare. However, he also spread unsubstantiated health-related theories that raised concerns in the medical community. After Kennedy dropped his independent presidential campaign and endorsed Trump, the Kennedy family released a statement blatantly opposing him. Soon after, Trump announced Kennedy would join his transition team. Last month, he announced Kennedy was his nominee for secretary of Health and Human Services. Recent reports claimed that Kennedy is utilizing his closeness to the president-elect, to push for his daughter-in-law, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, for a top CIA position so she can help him uncover the truth behind JFK’s assassination in 1963. Kennedy has often espoused the belief that the CIA was involved in the assassination. Meanwhile, Schlossberg has used his social media presence as a means to mock and ridicule Kennedy for his newfound political endeavors – hoping to undermine his cousin’s influence.New Tech Revolution! Stephanie Norman meticulously ensures her subterranean is fully stocked yearly. She lives in what is colloquially known as 'Tornado Valley.' Tornados are a major threat in the middle of America , with significant twisters having locals prepare with cellars to wait out the storm. Hurricanes can also feature separate tornados due to the high winds associated with the storm, ripping apart homes and buildings in their way. Terrifying moment tornadoes destroy homes and injure several in New York Hurricane Beryl slams into Texas with '100mph winds' as flood warnings issued The digital influencer and mother-of-two recently offered an inside glimpse of her 7-foot-deep bunker, giving viewers her home and leaving viewers amazed. Stephanie revealed that although the shelter can accommodate eight people, it requires stooping due to limited headroom. "I'm 5ft 3ins and I cannot even stand up in here," she conveyed in a popular TikTok video. In 2018, she invested $25,000 in the bunker, which features a sliding entry door and descending steps removable for extra space. Furthermore, Stephanie pointed out the security measures: "There is a lock on the door, so if there was a tornado we could lock it just to be sure that the door wouldn't blow open." In addition to the safety features, she highlighted interior aspects, saying: "There are two long benches that can go on both sides, but we only use one side just to save more space. The times that we have been in here, me and the kids sat on the floor so we don't even really use the benches." The bunker also has battery-powered lighting, a makeshift bucket toilet, and a stash of emergency provisions. Supplies are stocked with nappies, baby wipes, tinned fruit, water cartons, a torch, toilet paper, blankets, and various food snacks. She emphasized: "I will also pack a separate bag the day of severe weather that includes an extra set of clothing for everybody, chargers, toys for the kids, important documents, first aid kit, meds and keys." However, confusion arose among some people regarding the logistics if a catastrophe were to occur, with Stephanie's home collapsing atop their storm shelter. A person questioned: "If your house collapses onto your shelter is there ventilation, power, a potty?" Horror dashcam footage shows Maryland Tornado battering cars with flying debris Huge tornado causes devastating destruction - with people trapped and injured Texas tornado plunges one million residents into darkness Another voiced skepticism: "A storm shelter inside the house seems like a bad idea. I thought it was always out in the yard so you could get out in case the house collapsed." One comment raised concerns about escape: "What if the house comes down? How do you get out? " Another expressed fear: "Omg, the panic I would have if I was stuck underground in that small area." Stephanie, however, provided information to allay fears, mentioning the presence of a cable hoist within the bunker to help open the door should they become trapped. She also educates others: "Typically (not always) storm shelters are registered with local officials. So if there is a direct hit, they know where to look." Reassuringly, Stephanie stated: "There is a very slim chance that there would actually be a tornado but we like to be prepared because we do live in Tornado Alley."
Remy Ma and Papoose furiously accuse each other of cheating as Claressa Shields is dragged into feud Have YOU got a story? The hip-hop power couple tied the knot in 2008, and a decade later they welcomed a daughter called Reminisce, who turns six on Saturday. Rumors have been swirling about the state of their marriage for a year, and now, they have plunged into a fiery social media feud. Over multiple Instagram posts, Remy, 44, accused Papoose, 46, of conducting an affair with professional boxer Claressa 'T-Rex' Shields, 29 . She shared screen-grabs of what she claimed were text conversations between Papoose and Claressa, purportedly backing up her claims. Papoose shot back, accusing Remy of 'repeatedly' cheating on him and alleging that he once 'knocked' her supposed lover 'out.' Remy Ma and her husband Papoose explosively confirmed their separation on Instagram this Thursday, furiously accusing each other of infidelity; pictured 2019 Early Thursday morning, Remy wrote on Instagram that 'papoose dum a** fell asleep on the phone with' Claressa as he lay 'in my house he refuses to leave.' She turned her attention to Claressa, sneering: 'This b**** supposed to be a world champion boxer and get scary a** hung up soon as she heard my voice,' and declaring: 'Nowwww I’m telling everything ohhhh and babygirl u not the only one.' The message was posted alongside an alleged screen-grab of a suggestive text conversation between Claressa and Papoose. One text, supposedly from Claressa, read in part: 'you are the one who is married! If you can't at least sleep on the phone with me or be with me in person... it shouldn't be a big deal to let me know you made it home safe.' Remy then wrote on her Insta Stories that Claressa and her 'sorry a** publicity team' had been 'putting out fake stories on me EVERYDAY to make me look bad and him look like gods gift for too long.' She alleged that she 'BEGGED' Papoose to 'put out something to stop the narrative,' but he advised her to 'stay quiet' as that was 'the best thing to do.' Remy then rounded on Claressa, taunting her by claiming that Papoose 'said he would never f*** your cuz you ugly but don't worry I saw EVERYTHING now the world gonna see it since u so tough boo.' Papoose retaliated by posting - then deleting - an Instagram rant in which he accused Remy of infidelity and said he confronted her supposed lover last year. In a follow-up post, Papoose denounced Remy as a 'narcissist' who allegedly 'chose to cheat repeatedly' and began 'playing the victim' once he 'moved on' from her. 'I have requested a divorce numerous times,' he wrote. 'She rather clout chase on social media. Than handle this like civilized adults.' Remy responded with another broadside on her Instagram page, posting what she claimed was a screen-grab of Claressa's texts to Papoose. In the grab, the boxer allegedly urged Papoose to 'do something today' about Remy's public statements because Claressa's movie The Fire Inside will be released Christmas Day and her PR team would 'freak out' over the unfolding drama. 'Papoose u f*ckin Dummy!' Remy wrote in the caption accompanying the supposed screen-grab. 'Hey Ms Shields, he took your advice but not before I screenshot yall convo . Oh , he was getting me arrested, the woman that NEVER f***ed off on him in 17 years! While plotting with ONE OF his chicks to try to destroy me.' Remy told her Instagram followers that 'if anything sexual leaks about me it was him,' claiming that Papoose 'threatened' just such a leak. Not long after, Remy posted another supposed text message screen-grab - this one allegedly showing Claressa confessing she was 'not happy' with Papoose. She dismissed Papoose's claims, writing: '#HeNEVERknockedNobodyOut,' and jeering at Claressa: '#AndNeitherWillYouSoRelax.' Papoose issued a retort on his own Insta Stories, specifically addressing Remy's allegation that he had gotten her arrested. 'I will never get anyone arrested. Once again you are lying!! That can be easily verified. You are the one who play with police,' he wrote. He added: 'Falsifying text messages that you claim are from over a decade ago. Expanded CFP field draws more bets and on more teamsChinese leader Xi Jinping has been invited to attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration next month. Karoline Leavitt, the incoming White House press secretary, told Fox News on Thursday that the inaugural committee had extended an invite to Xi and other foreign leaders, but she did not offer details of who else was invited beyond the Chinese president. CBS News was the first to report on the invites. "This is an example of President Trump creating an open dialogue with leaders of countries that are not just allies but our adversaries and our competitors too," Leavitt said on Fox. She added that it's "to be determined" whether Xi accepts the invitation. Leavitt described inviting foreign dignitaries as "precedent." But an invitation to a leader like Xi is not the norm, according to Allan Lichtman, a professor of politics at American University. "It is precedent to invite some dignitaries like ambassadors, but not foreign heads of state, certainly not a head of state who is not an ally," Lichtman said in an email to NPR. Trump has taken a hard line against China. Though during his first term, he often touted a strong relationship with Xi, and has said they had "great chemistry." But the first Trump administration imposed tariffs on some products from China, and Trump has recently threatened further tariffs in his second term. In a post last month on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump threatened a 10% tariff on goods coming into the U.S. from China because of the amount of fentanyl and other drugs entering the U.S. from there. It's not yet clear if the tariff will be actualized.Still no New French Government For Beleaguered President Macron

With Boston College trailing defending champion Miami, Flutie threw the Hail Mary and found receiver Gerard Phalen, who made the grab while falling into the end zone behind a pair of defenders for a game-winning 48-yard TD. Flutie and many of his 1984 teammates were honored on the field during BC’s 41-21 victory over North Carolina before the second quarter on Saturday afternoon, the anniversary of the Eagles’ Miracle in Miami. “There’s no way its been 40 years,” Flutie told The Associated Press on the sideline a few minutes before he walked out with some of his former teammates to be recognized after a video of The Play was shown on the scoreboards. Famous football plays often attain a legendary status with religious names like the "Immaculate Reception," the "Hail Mary" pass and the Holy Roller fumble. It’s a moment and highlight that’s not only played throughout decades of BC students and fans, but around the college football world. “What is really so humbling is that the kids 40 years later are wearing 22 jerseys, still,” Flutie said of his old number. “That amazes me.” That game was played on national TV the Friday after Thanksgiving. The ironic thing is it was originally scheduled for earlier in the season before CBS paid Rutgers to move its game against Miami, thus setting up the BC-Miami post-holiday matchup. Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie rejoices in his brother Darren's arms after B.C. defeats Miami with a last second touchdown pass on Nov. 23, 1984, in Miami. “It shows you how random some things are, that the game was moved,” Flutie said. “The game got moved to the Friday after Thanksgiving, which was the most watched game of the year. We both end up being nationally ranked and up there. All those things lent to how big the game itself was, and made the pass and the catch that much more relevant and remembered because so many people were watching.” There’s a statue of Flutie winding up to make The Pass outside the north gates at Alumni Stadium. Fans and visitors can often be seen taking photos there. “In casual conversation, it comes up every day,” Flutie said, when asked how many times people bring it up. “It brings a smile to my face every time we talk about it.” A week after the game-ending Flutie pass, the Eagles beat Holy Cross and before he flew off to New York to accept the Heisman. They went on to win the 49th Cotton Bowl on New Year’s Day. Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie evades Miami defensive tackle Kevin Fagan during the first quarter of a game on Nov. 23, 1984, in Miami, Fla. “Forty years seem almost like incomprehensible,” said Phalen, also standing on the sideline a few minutes after the game started. “I always say to Doug: ‘Thank God for social media. It’s kept it alive for us.”’ Earlier this week, current BC coach Bill O’Brien, 55, was asked if he remembered where he was 40 years ago. “We were eating Thanksgiving leftovers in my family room,” he said. “My mom was saying a Rosary in the kitchen because she didn’t like Miami and wanted BC to win. My dad, my brother and I were watching the game. “It was unbelievable,” he said. “Everybody remembers where they were for the Hail Mary, Flutie pass.” Sports Week in Photos: Tyson vs. Paul, Nadal, and more Mike Tyson, left, slaps Jake Paul during a weigh-in ahead of their heavyweight bout, Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, in Irving, Texas.
