1. A veggie chopper for those who wanna cook homemade meals, but are so daunted by the thought of prepping the ingredients, they're already ordering Seamless a fourth night in a row. Fullstar is a small biz that specializes in super useful kitchen gadgets! Promising review: "Makes life so much easier. I can't imagine chopping onions or bell peppers by hand anymore, and it does so much more. We used to have a Prepworks chopper which was a similar idea, but you had to press so hard to chop, and it broke after not too long. This one requires very little effort to cut through the food and it has a generous container. " — Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $29.99 (available in four colors and five sizes). 2. Bra extenders that'll add an extra 2 inches to your bra. If you wear a bra, you know just how rare it can be to find one that you actually adore and we want to help you preserve your faves for as long as possible. Promising review: "Bought these for my pregnancy based on a tip from a recently pregnant friend. Total game-changer. I only had to buy a new-sized bra once, and then I used these for the rest of my pregnancy, as my cup size didn't change anymore, but OMG, my ribcage just kept on expanding and expanding to accommodate the baby. IMO, these make wearing a regular bra possible during those body-changing portions of pregnancy, saving me money in the long run. Additionally, they work as expected...they clip onto the original spacers easily, they match up with the original hooks really well, and they are very comfortable and easy to use. Best $6 I've ever spent on Amazon. Buy them, you won't regret it." — Queen Bee Get a pack of three from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in 20 options). 3. A pet hair remover you simply swipe over surfaces covered in hair from your furry bestie. It saves more time (and is a heck of a lot easier) than fussing around with a vacuum and lint rollers! Promising review: "Where has this been all my cat-loving life? Sticky rollers work fine for clothes, but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired, 20-pound tabby, and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing — he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care; it's THAT good." — DH Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in three colors). 4. A privacy window film that'll help block up to 96% of UV rays and reduce up to 79% of glare, which may just help you save a little bit on energy bills! Promising review : "I have a large window in my bathroom, and you can see in from the backyard; not very private. I like the light but needed privacy, sheer curtains were not enough. This product is very easy to install, and I love the rainbows. This is the cheapest rainbow window cling I could find, and it exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be doing more windows." — Ashley Barnes Get it from Amazon for $5.99+ (available in 11 sizes). 5. A Snuggle Puppy that's basically a miracle solution to helping ease your pup's loneliness and separation anxiety. It's especially perfect for those crate-training their furry bbs. Back in 2020, my family made a wonderful decision to get an adorable Havanese puppy named Bailey (pictured left as a puppy in 2020, pictured right in December 2023). He slept like an absolute angel the first night we brought him home, so when he kept us up for six. whole. hours the night after and wouldn't stop crying the next day, we knew we needed to try something fast. A family friend recommended the Snuggle Puppy. Within a half hour of putting the little heart ticker into the stuffed toy and putting it in Bailey's crate, he was quiet and fast asleep while cuddling up to his new toy. Almost four years later, the Snuggle Puppy is still Bailey's favorite toy — we just don't keep the heart ticker in there anymore. He has an entire crate of toys he BARELY touches solely because he loves the Snuggle Puppy so much. It is on the pricey side for a dog toy, and he's currently on his fourth Snuggle Puppy because he's chewed off the ears and noses on the other ones, but seeing how attached he is to the puppy and how happy it makes him, it's 100% worth it. Truly cannot recommend this enough. Get it from Amazon: the Snuggle Puppy for $39.95 (available in five colors). 6. These are simple little plastic discs with three prongs that fold out and adjust to the cup you want to put on top of another cup. They are easy to use and certainly increase the number of cups that will fit in your cupboard which maximizes your space. I bought a set for myself to try, then I bought one for friends and family for Christmas. I really like the concept and design. I would recommend them to anyone who needs more space in their cupboard! " — rrlphd Get them from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in three colors). 8. These will also make it easier and quicker to make your bed in the morning! Promising review: "I have a pillow-top and pillow-bottom queen-sized bed that is a little too small for king sheets, and with queen sheets, I have battled to keep the sheets from popping off. I have tried everything! I was about to try to customize some king sheets because it was so frustrating. Then I saw this product advertised on Facebook in one of those posts about the amazing products that people love. So, I figured it was worth a try. It works. I was shocked. My sheets have not popped off once. I ordered this in February and it is May now — and they have not popped off once! They used to pop off EVERY...SINGLE...NIGHT. To say this is life-changing is not an exaggeration. Such a relief to be able to sleep through the night without ending up in rumpled sheets." — TinkerbellAPixie Get a set of four from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in three colors, two lengths, and larger sets). 9. Plus, this is vegan! Promising review: "Oh my gosh — this stuff is a life changer! Used it to get my fiberglass shower totally clean. Nothing else would get it done, and this stuff brought my shower back to near-new in one use. We’ve since cleaned a weird, chalky film off our garage door, removed wall markings, and cleaned my storm door. We’ll never be without a jar (or three) of this stuff. Worth every penny." — Nancy F. Promising review: "I became really sensitive to wine in my 30s and through a lot of trial and painful error, I thought I might have to give up on wine altogether. Then I found out about the preservatives being a possible cause and decided to give this product a shot. So glad I did!! I'm still pretty sensitive to reds but this helps tremendously so that I can have a glass with dinner without a headache immediately settling in. Whites cause me no problem what so ever! I'm currently encouraging my sister and friends to invest in these too! These are also great for backing up, because you can see exactly how close you are to hitting the car behind, and it's helpful when I parallel park in the city." — Mariam Abass Get a pack of two from Amazon for $6.99+ (available in four shapes). 12. Wet & Forget , a super simple cleaner you just spray in your shower/tub once a week. The best part? You don't have to scrub...like...at all. Just rinse it the next day, and you're good to go. I know, I know, I'm crying tears of joy, too. Promising review: "We cannot BEGIN to tell you what a lifesaver this is! We have two old fiberglass tubs with vinyl shower enclosures that, no matter what amount of scrubbing we have done with everything from bleach to cleanser to vinegar and baking soda, would NOT come clean. After I took my shower last night, I sprayed down the tub and walls. Within minutes, all the built-up water deposits, dirt, and grime began to melt away in front of my eyes. I left it on overnight, and when I got up this morning, it did not look like the same tub and shower. This product is a godsend, especially for old folks like us who have difficulty getting down on our hands and knees and scrubbing anything. More importantly, it performs as advertised. This is truly an overnight sensation!" — Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $19.19 (available in two scents). 13. A dice set to help get you out of your cooking rut. Wireless headphone ear hooks — a must-have for anyone who is all too familiar with the struggle of their wireless earbuds constantly trying to plan their escape. They belong in your ear, not on the subway tracks. Promising review: "Overall works great. I do about 30 minutes of running each day, and after I started sweating, my AirPods would start slipping out, and I'd have to adjust them back into my ears constantly. This product works great and holds them in. They won't stay super tight in your ear necessarily, but they only move out a little over time. The difference for me was adjusting once during my workout instead of every two minutes while running. Highly recommend if you're looking to keep your AirPods in your ears during workouts." — ChrisW Get a pair from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in four colors). 15. A brilliant ice tray that allows you to make ice cubes quickly and pour them out without ever having to actually touch the ice. I'll cheers to that! Just fill the bottle-shaped ice maker with water, stick it in the freezer, pop the sides once the water is frozen, and pour the cubes into your glass. Icebreaker is a small biz based in Texas that sells this genius ice cube solution! Promising review: "We have a small freezer and no icemaker and have been using fiddly trays for years. Icebreaker Pop has changed everything! No more leaky ice trays spilling in the freezer or on the way to the freezer, and no ice picking up weird smells and tastes from the freezer. Icebreaker Pop is self-contained and easy to use: you fill it up with water (but be careful not to overfill because it does expand as it freezes. Physics!), seal the top, and put it in the freezer. Once it's frozen, you lay it on a flat surface, press down hard on it a couple of times on each side to crack the ice, and pull it apart with both handles. You now have 18 cubes of clean ice that dispense from the opening, eliminating the need to touch the cubes as you add them to your glass . The cubes are a little smaller than from regular ice trays, but that's OK with us. Icebreaker Pop is also cool-looking and easy to clean; it's made up of three easy-to-separate pieces that are a snap to wash thoroughly. Very happy with this product!" — Leah Koepp Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in four colors). 16. Anti-slip silicone glasses sleeves for keeping your eyewear where it belongs — ya know, on your face — and NOT slipping and sliding down to the floor and risking getting broken AGAIN. Promising review: "I was a little dubious about these, but my daughter's glasses were always falling off her face and to the floor, so if I could spend a couple of bucks to save her expensive glasses, it was worth a shot. In fact, because you get five pairs, I put a set on my glasses, and I'll be darned if they don't work really well. They add a little bit of bulk to your glasses, so if you're extremely fashion-conscious, it's not like tape-on-the-bridge nerdy, but it's there. But if you're more concerned about having your glasses feel like they're going to stay put on your head, then you'll like these. They aren't too thick, so you don't really notice them on your ears. In fact, because of the soft silicone, they actually result in less of the occasional soreness I would get from my glasses on my ears sometimes." — Domenico Bettinelli Get a pack of five pairs (10 total) from Amazon for $6.99 (available in three colors). 17. A thaw claw that'll help thaw frozen meat up to seven times quicker (depending on which meat you're thawing, some reviewers say it only takes minutes). Thaw Claw is a small biz! Promising review: "A package of frozen meat would have taken at least two days to thaw in the fridge. A shoe stretch spray because few things are worse than finding an adorable pair of footwear, excitedly opening the package, and then struggling to get the shoes on your feet because they're just a tad too tight. Those boots were made for walking, and that's just what you'll DO! My colleague Amanda Davis swears by this spray. Here's what she has to say about it: "So, I have about three pairs of shoes that have just been sitting in my closet because while they are sooo so cute, the leather was too tight for my foot to comfortably get inside 'em. Did I return them? Nope. (We all know the hassle of online returns, right?) Instead, I bought this shoe stretch spray on a whim. I didn't expect much, but WOW! The shoes that took me a minute of struggling to get into fit *perfectly* now!! The process was as simple as could be, too. I just sprayed my shoes (inside and out, heel to toe) like there was no tomorrow. I put on some semi-thick socks (just to ensure I had ample room later) and wore the shoes around my house for about 30–40 minutes. As I was walking around, I could literally feel them begin to loosen up. After about 30 minutes, I took my shoes and thick socks off, and the shoes just ~slide~ on. Easy Peasy. Now I have a new favorite pair of shoes, and zero dollars have been wasted. I tried these with a pair of chunky leather loafers, but I can only imagine what they'll do for my pair of Dr. Martens — the boots known to take a while to break into. This stuff is a must!" Promising review: "This device is ingenious! Wished I’d known this product exist sooner. I use Arm & Hammer toothpaste, which still comes in the standard small cap so having it propped up behind the bathroom cabinet was impossible. Now, problem solved. It’s a small invention that made a positive impact. I thank the person who thought of it." — Jl33NYC Get it from Amazon for $6.98 . 22. A reusable oil-absorbing face roller that'll be a lifesaver for anyone who tends to get extra oily. Just glide it over your face, it's THAT easy. Promising review: "First off, if you have extremely oily skin, this. is. it. I was so tired of getting blotting powder/wipes. It felt wasteful and always left residue on my face. I saw this on TikTok and NEEDED it. It was backordered, but then I got an email saying it was in stock, and I was SO excited. Not only is it affordable, but it's washable, which helps you save money and be less wasteful." — Kelsey B. Get it from Amazon for $9.44 . 23. Say goodbye to the days of having to search the room high and low for any stray nails — because there's always at least one mischievous one. The clippers have a file on the bottom and also come in a really nice case! Promising review: "Best nail clipper I've ever owned. All my life I've had stainless steel nail clippers that slip from my fingers whenever I have to cut my nails, which bends the nail and adds pressure onto my nail bed. With these clippers, the groove lets my thumb sit comfortably. It cuts very well, and there's no need to put too much pressure when cutting a tough nail. The nail catcher is a good bonus. It prevents your nail debris from flying all over the place so you don't need to hover over the trash can. I use the built-in nail file to shape those sharp edges and it does the job very well. It eliminates the use of switching over to an individual nail file. I also like the little case that it comes in. It keeps me from losing my nail clippers." — Jasmine Get them from Amazon for $13.99 . 25. The Magnetack is a small biz based in Miami that sells magnetic pushpin photo and poster holders. Promising review: "Absolutely perfect. A rain glass treatment to repel rain water so you can drive in storms with peace of mind because you can actually see the road ahead clearly. Promising review: "I had a cheap, untempered windshield, which was awful in the rain. A friend of mine from college recommended Rain-X and I was shocked at the difference. I applied it with a soft rag and sat there wondering if it was even on properly. I trusted the system and then, later that night, took my car out for a drive; it rained while I was out, and the difference was instantly noticeable. Before, when using my wipers, streaks would obscure my view so much that any lights would make driving in the rain hard. Now, the droplets don't smear, and smaller ones sometimes just roll off. It's pretty great." — Alison J. Gong Get it from Amazon for $7.80 . 28. Dishwasher cleaning tablets so the machine you rely on to clean the things you use to eat isn't gunking them up even more. These tablets remove odor-causing residue and help get rid of lime and mineral build-up that naturally occurs inside dishwashers. The tablet is designed to last throughout the entire wash cycle and is recommended for use about once a month. These are safe to use in stainless-steel tubs and plastic tub dishwashers. Promising review: "After using this product, I am happy to report that my $5 investment saved me over $500. I was ready to replace my dishwasher due to super cloudy glasses, residue, and just not getting clean. Then, I became aware that the water softener was no longer doing its job, so I had the rental company replace it. Dishwasher performance improved somewhat. I decided to do two more loads before deciding to purchase a new one. Then, I saw a product test review for Affresh in a magazine. I was ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway, so I added that to my order. When it came, I tossed one of the tablets into the bottom of the full machine and ran the regular cycle. I did not expect the results I got! My glassware, which I thought was permanently etched and ruined, came out like new. Same with cutlery. The difference is unbelievable. I will use this faithfully on a monthly basis, as recommended. I can even put it on my subscribe and save order, so I will get a new pack every six months. I am amazed!" — Sheila Get a pack of six from Amazon for $8.99 . 29. Wad-Free , a truly wonderful creation that'll stop bedsheets from getting all tangled and twisted in the washer and dryer. Donald Trump is returning to the world stage. So is his trollingB.C. Premier David Eby said B.C. will slay its record-setting deficit of $9 billion through growth and sound fiscal planning, not "harsh austerity cuts" or "under-funding services" as he reached out to business leaders to make a case for investment in physical and social infrastructure. Eby made these comments while speaking in Vancouver Tuesday, (Dec. 10), at an event hosted by the B.C. Chamber of Commerce, which has previously raised concerns about B.C.'s fiscal direction. That tension surfaced during the opening of the informal question-and-answer session between Eby and Fiona Famulak, chamber president and chief executive officer. "We don't always agree, but we can always have — and we always do have — candid and frank conversations, and I know you are always up for tough questions, because you always answer them," Famulak said. "What you have just said minutes ago, a lot of good things have been said." Eby acknowledged relations could be better. "So my commitment is that you will find a government that is hoping, with your support, to hit reset on this relationship, to move forward with the tariff threat that we are facing in a unified way, with the massive opportunity in this province to deliver it for British Columbians and that four years from now...we can look back and go, 'man, we did a lot of good work together.'" Eby's prepared remarks touched on a range of subjects, including tomorrow's meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as well as provincial and territorial leaders to discuss threatened tariffs of 25 per cent on all Canadian goods by incoming-president U.S. Donald Trump. But if a singular theme ran through Eby's speech, it was his promise to reform permitting for natural resource projects. He pointed to yesterday's announcement that his government would free nine new wind energy projects from the required environmental assessments. He then added that those projects would go through a singular rather multiple permitting windows. Eby said these changes will help get these projects off the ground three to five years faster than otherwise in framing them as the first of many changes to speed up permitting in various areas. One of the central sectors concerned about permitting is the mining sector. More to come...Drones, planes or UFOs? Americans abuzz over mysterious New Jersey sightings
