Samsara Reports Third Quarter Fiscal Year 2025 Financial ResultsGemini and Scorpio , two of the most intriguing and dynamic zodiac signs, have a cosmic connection that has long captivated the astrological community. These two signs, with their distinct personalities and approaches to life, can either forge a captivating partnership or face insurmountable challenges. As we delve into the depths of their compatibility, we'll uncover the nuances, complexities, and potential for growth that arise when these celestial counterparts collide. Advertisement Gemini, the mutable air sign, is known for its duality and versatility. Represented by the symbol of the Twins, Geminis are inherently curious, social, and intellectually driven. They possess a natural charm and a penchant for engaging in stimulating conversations, making them the life of any gathering. Their quick wit and adaptability allow them to seamlessly navigate different social settings, often leaving a lasting impression on those they encounter. Advertisement In contrast, Scorpio is a fixed water sign, known for its depth, intensity, and transformative nature. Symbolized by the Scorpion, Scorpios are deeply intuitive, emotionally driven, and possess a keen understanding of the human psyche. They are often perceived as mysterious and even intimidating, as they delve into the darker aspects of life with a relentless curiosity. Scorpios are fiercely loyal and passionate, but their need for control and their tendency to hold grudges can sometimes create challenges in their relationships. Advertisement At first glance, the Gemini-Scorpio pairing may seem like an unlikely match, as these two signs possess vastly different personalities and approaches to life. Gemini's airy, adaptable nature contrasts sharply with Scorpio's intense, water-driven temperament. However, this very contrast can also be the source of their intrigue and potential for growth. Advertisement One of the primary connections between Gemini and Scorpio lies in their shared thirst for knowledge and intellectual stimulation. Both signs are natural-born detectives, driven by an insatiable curiosity about the world around them. Gemini's quick-witted charm and Scorpio's penetrating insights can create a dynamic exchange of ideas, fueling their conversations and fostering a deep sense of understanding. Advertisement Where Gemini thrives on the lightness of social interactions and a constant stream of new experiences, Scorpio delves into the emotional depths, seeking profound connections and a deeper understanding of the human condition. This contrast can be both a blessing and a curse for the Gemini-Scorpio partnership. Gemini may find Scorpio's intensity overwhelming, while Scorpio may perceive Gemini's flighty nature as a lack of emotional investment. Advertisement Despite their differences, there is an undeniable magnetism between Gemini and Scorpio. Gemini's intellectual curiosity is often piqued by Scorpio's mysterious aura, while Scorpio is drawn to Gemini's ability to navigate the social landscape with ease. This mutual fascination can lead to a thrilling and captivating relationship, where the Gemini-Scorpio pair explores the boundaries of their own comfort zones and discovers new realms of emotional and intellectual growth. Advertisement Effective communication is crucial for the Gemini-Scorpio partnership to thrive. Gemini's tendency to engage in lighthearted banter and surface-level conversations may clash with Scorpio's desire for deeper, more meaningful exchanges. To bridge this gap, both partners must be willing to step out of their comfort zones and make a conscious effort to understand each other's communication styles. Advertisement Trust and emotional intimacy are areas where Gemini and Scorpio may face the greatest challenges. Scorpio's intense need for loyalty and their tendency to hold grudges can be at odds with Gemini's more casual, flirtatious nature. Establishing clear boundaries, communicating openly about their fears and insecurities, and cultivating a mutual respect for each other's emotional needs are essential for this partnership to succeed. Advertisement The sexual and intimate compatibility between Gemini and Scorpio is a complex and paradoxical realm. Gemini's playful approach to intimacy may clash with Scorpio's intense, almost obsessive focus on the physical and emotional aspects of their connection. However, if they can find a way to bridge this gap and respect each other's unique styles, their intimate encounters can be truly transformative, blending Gemini's creativity and Scorpio's depth. Advertisement Navigating the differences between Gemini and Scorpio requires a delicate balance of compromise and mutual understanding. Both partners must be willing to step outside their comfort zones, embrace each other's unique perspectives, and find common ground where they can thrive. This may involve Gemini learning to slow down and engage with Scorpio's emotional needs, while Scorpio works on cultivating a more open and adaptable approach to life. While the romantic compatibility between Gemini and Scorpio may face more challenges, their friendship can be a truly synergistic bond. Their shared intellectual curiosity and desire for personal growth can create a dynamic and enriching partnership. Gemini's lighthearted nature can help Scorpio let go of their intense focus, while Scorpio's depth and loyalty can provide the stability and emotional support that Gemini craves. In a professional setting, the Gemini-Scorpio duo can be a formidable team, leveraging their respective strengths to achieve remarkable results. Gemini's innovative ideas and adaptability can complement Scorpio's analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. By learning to communicate effectively and respect each other's working styles, this pairing can thrive in a wide range of industries and projects. The journey of a Gemini-Scorpio relationship is often marked by a series of peaks and valleys. These signs may experience intense periods of connection and growth, followed by moments of conflict and misunderstanding. The key to navigating this relationship lifecycle is to approach each challenge with a spirit of openness, compromise, and a willingness to learn from one another. In conclusion, the Gemini-Scorpio compatibility is a complex and multifaceted tapestry, woven with threads of both challenge and potential. While these two signs may initially seem like an unlikely match, their ability to push each other's boundaries, challenge each other's perspectives, and engage in profound intellectual and emotional exchanges can lead to a truly transformative and rewarding partnership. By embracing their differences, cultivating open communication, and finding ways to balance their unique needs, Gemini and Scorpio can embark on a captivating journey of self-discovery and personal growth, leaving an indelible mark on each other's lives. Kyogo Furuhashi, Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah were all on target in a 4-1 victory in the capital on Saturday night. Musa Drammeh pulled one back for the home side with ten minutes remaining but it proved to be little more than a consolation. There is now daylight between the four-in-a-row chasing champions and second-placed Aberdeen who suffered their first league defeat of the season at St Mirren a few hours earlier. Hearts remain second-bottom of the top-flight after their fourth defeat in the last five games. The first chance of the game fell to Blair Spittal but the midfielder failed to connect as he would have intended and Schmeichel easily collected. The Celtic goalkeeper was called into action soon after to save a shot from James Penrice as Hearts made a strong start. Daizen Maeda then came close to giving the visitors an early lead after Callum McGregor chipped the ball into the danger area but the Japan forward’s header looped over the bar. Lawrence Shankland was next up when he fired wide from close range as Hearts looked to take advantage of their early pressure. The Scotland forward had another good chance moments later but his header was well saved by Schmeichel. It was all square at the break and the first big chance after the break fell to Kyogo when his shot was well saved by Craig Gordon. However, the Japan forward put the Hoops ahead just moments later. Gordon pulled off another good save but Kyogo was clinical with the rebound as he turned home from close range to make it 1-0 ten minutes into the second-half. Brendan Rodgers’ side doubled their lead five minutes later when Nicolas Kuhn smashed the ball into the roof of the net to make it 2-0. The German winger showed a burst of pace before playing a one-two with Maeda and gave Gordon no chance with a thunderous strike. Drammeh reduced the deficit late on when he made a bursting run before leaving Schmeichel with no chance with a long-range strike that flew into the net. Idah then added icing to the Celtic cake with his second of the match from the penalty spot to make it 4-1 in injury-time. SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Once-promising seasons hit new lows for the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers last week. Another late-game meltdown sent the Bears to their sixth straight loss and led to the firing of coach Matt Eberflus. The 49ers suffered their second straight blowout loss and more crushing injuries to go from Super Bowl contenders to outside the playoff picture in a matter of weeks. The two reeling teams will try to get back on track on Sunday when the Bears (4-8) visit the 49ers (5-7) in Chicago's first game under interim coach Thomas Brown . “I told them a minute ago after practice there is no confidence loss at all as far as what I think about them,” Brown said Wednesday. “I don’t care what anybody else thinks about them. I think we have a very talented football team. It’s about just putting the work in every single day to give us an opportunity to win.” The Bears are hoping to get an emotional boost from the first in-season firing of a head coach in franchise history. Over the last 10 seasons, teams with interim coaches are 13-11 in their first game with the new coach. Those teams had a .284 winning percentage at the time they fired their coaches. “I wouldn’t say a new voice was needed. I would say there was change that was needed," rookie quarterback Caleb Williams said, pointing to a need for more accountability and better communication. The Niners came into the season as the favorites to get back to the Super Bowl from the NFC after losing the title game to Kansas City last season. But a series of key injuries, bad losses and spotty play have left them in last place in the NFC West with only slim hopes of even reaching the postseason. San Francisco lost 38-10 to Green Bay and 35-10 to Buffalo in back-to-back weeks and lost star running back Christian McCaffrey to a knee injury last week that will sideline him for at least the rest of the regular season. The Niners already lost key players Brandon Aiyuk and Javon Hargrave to season-ending injuries and are preparing to be without stars Nick Bosa and Trent Williams for a third straight week. “It’s just been a rocky mountain for real with the injuries and other stuff we’ve had to go through this season,” receiver Deebo Samuel said. “Our record don’t show how really good we are as a team. We're still believing in this locker room.” Chaotic education Williams described Eberflus’ firing as “interesting” and “tough” and vowed to “roll with the punches” while insisting the chaos and turnover of the past few weeks could help him handle similar situations in the future. Just 12 games into his NFL career, the prized quarterback is on his second head coach and third offensive coordinator, though Brown will continue to call plays. How does he keep the faith that his career is in good hands with this organization? “The first part is understanding I can’t control,” Williams said. “Even if I understand or don’t understand, that doesn’t matter. I have to roll with the punches like I said before. I don’t control everything.” Guerendo's chance With McCaffrey and Jordan Mason injured, the Niners running game will turn to rookie Isaac Guerendo . The fourth-round pick has 42 carries for 246 yards and two TDs this season and will be making his second start in either college or the pros. Coach Kyle Shanahan said the progress Guerendo has made since training camp makes him ready for his new role as he sees him running with more “urgency.” “I think it takes guys some time,” Shanahan said. “You start to get a feel for it the more, if you’ve got the right stuff, the more you get reps, the more you can adjust to it. How hard you’ve got to hit stuff, how quick those holes close, how when there is a hole how you have to hit it full-speed and can’t hesitate at all or it closes like that. We’ve seen that stuff get better in practice and we’ve seen it carry over into games.” Stop the run San Francisco's usually stout run defense has been anything but that this season. The Niners have struggled to slow down the opposition on the ground all year with the problem getting worse recently. The 49ers allowed 389 yards rushing the past two weeks. “It’s been so frustrating because I know what is supposed to look like,” linebacker Fred Warner said. “That’s not it.” Stopping the run also continues to be a sore spot for Chicago. The Bears rank 25th overall against the run and 29th in yards allowed per rush after another difficult outing last week. They gave up 194 yards, including 144 in the first half as the Lions grabbed a 16-0 lead. Losing veteran defensive tackle Andrew Billings to a torn pectoral muscle last month did not help. He was injured in a Week 9 loss at Arizona and is expected to miss the remainder of the season after having surgery. AP Sports Writer Andrew Seligman contributed to this report. WASHINGTON — Lockheed Martin announced it completed critical tests of a lunar solar array prototype, demonstrating the technology’s potential for operating in the harsh environment of the moon’s south pole. The company developed one of three designs funded by NASA through approximately $20 million in contracts awarded in 2022 to Lockheed Martin, Blue Origin’s Honeybee Robotics and Astrobotic as part of the agency’s broader push to establish a sustainable presence on the moon. Under a program known as Lunar Vertical Solar Array Technology (LVSAT), the three companies developed vertical solar arrays designed to be deployable, relocatable and self-leveling — able to autonomously extend and retract to maximize sunlight exposure. Unlike traditional horizontal solar panels, these vertical arrays can extend up to 20 meters high, allowing them to capture sunlight above the terrain’s shadows, including craters and boulders that could obstruct horizontal systems. “If we are serious about sustainable lunar exploration, then we need to get serious about infrastructure,” said Christie Iacomini, program manager for LVSAT at Lockheed Martin. The company’s prototype was integrated at its facility in Waterton, Colorado. Iacomini said the array has completed deployment tests, regolith simulant evaluations, and extreme cold-soak trials at temperatures as low as -230°C, simulating lunar night conditions. Power is the linchpin for all other lunar infrastructure, from communications and transportation to habitat construction, said Rob Chambers, Lockheed Martin’s director for human and scientific space exploration strategy. At a news conference this month, Chambers said NASA “has done a great job in setting goals and objectives, but it’s up to industry to implement it,” Chambers said. “We need to start discussions about implementation.” The LVSAT arrays, he said, would be part of a lunar infrastructure strategy that Lockheed Martin has proposed , which includes leveraging lunar ice resources and exploring nuclear fission for continuous power generation during the 14-day lunar night when solar power is unavailable. For now, LVSAT’s future depends on NASA’s next steps. An agency spokesperson confirmed that all three designs in the program are close to completing testing , with final reports due in early 2025. NASA is not treating the LVSAT program as a competitive selection process. If the agency moves forward with a lunar technology demonstration, it would issue a new solicitation, potentially laying the groundwork for an operational deployment. NASA’s Artemis program aims to tap the commercial sector to establish a long-term presence on the moon as a stepping stone to Mars. Yet, analysts caution that commercial lunar activity remains aspirational, Sustainable lunar operations will require robust systems for power, communications, radiation shielding, navigation and regolith dust mitigation, all areas of the lunar economy that remain heavily dependent on government funding and objectives.Romania’s far-right presidential candidate denounces cancelled vote at closed polling stationWisconsin 58, VCU 45
